Scholarships + Mentoring
Staten Island Women, Inc. provides guidance and support to the borough’s future leaders by hosting engaging mentorship opportunities and awarding scholarships.
Scholarships
Staten Island Women, Inc. provides scholarships to a number of women attending Staten Island colleges who display traits shared by all Women of Achievement—they are role models with a deep commitment to community.
Among the outstanding grantees have been: a pre-med College of Staten Island student who volunteers at Luzuriaga Foundation, which works to end homelessness and support veterans; a 3.98 GPA computer science major who collects and organizes donated items at the Pregnancy Care Center of New York; and a Wagner College accounting major who fundraises and volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House.
You can donate to help fund future scholarships.
Any amount will help shape the next generation of volunteers, and Staten Island Women of Achievement.
Mentoring
Mentoring Mondays, professional networking events held on Staten Island, have provided hundreds of women the extraordinary opportunity to mingle with, and receive guidance from, highly successful Staten Island women—and to kick-start their own careers. Attendees, ranging from students to business owners, received mentoring from female leaders representing a broad spectrum of industries.
Our roadmap includes revisiting these events.
